Our Projects

We intend to start small and grow as our network expands, maximizing our value to the communities we serve along the way, and representing the Joy of Piper while doing so.

First up: Resource Directory

Our first goal is to put people in touch with services that can have immediate, measurable impact on their quality of life. These typically fall into areas like health, employment, housing and identity, but will also include resources for self-expression. The very early beginnings of that directory can be found here, and we intend to work with committed, professional, like-minded developers, and recruit volunteers from every community to help us populate the directory with legitimate, vetted support options.

We do this because Piper’s energy calls us to make a difference in a way she already had. Her network of friends and colleagues were varied and she never hesitated to connect good people with other good people. Sometimes that one connection, that one hand up, was enough to be transformative.

Next: Expression Exhibitions

People have something to say and we want to give them the opportunity to be seen, heard, felt and understood through the arts. As we build our network and include more communities we intend to provide platforms for expression to those we serve as we celebrate their contributions.

We do this because Piper encouraged people to keep becoming more themselves and loved capturing people doing just that. She celebrated the artfulness of people and we intend to do the same.

Eventually: Direct Funding

Our hope is to, eventually, with sufficient reach and fundraising, be able to provide some financial support to local community-level projects that are in concert with our mission, and delivered with positive messaging.

We do this because Piper would have wanted this.
